Pastor Doug Payne
In the nearly five years Doug and I have been friends, I have seen him live consistently as one who has taken to heart Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s words: “He who loves his idea of community will destroy community, but he who loves those around him will create community.” Doug is a pastor committed, not to an idea of the church, but to the actual church, to the frustrating and fruitful working of loving people as they are, in the name of Jesus.-Pastor Zach
