Please join us to hear from Amanda Banister, a missionary to Latvia. Amanda founded Lighthouse Transitional Care in 2017. The Lighthouse serves young adults (18 years and up) who have spent time in Latvia’s orphan care system or come from difficult family backgrounds as they work toward a healthy and productive adulthood. This work is intimate and relational discipleship and also involves teaching practical life and career skills and modeling healthy relationships. During this event, Amanda will share her heart for the orphaned and vulnerable in a place that is familiar and special to many of us at Calvin, and talk about ways to get involved.
