Calvin's community garden is open to all in Corvallis! Come grow your own local, organic food. The plots are located on our property across from Garfield Park.
Calvin sponsors a community garden and it has proven to be a neighborhood magnet. The garden is located on the church property, between Dixon & 13th streets, across from Garfield Park. The garden space, water, etc. is available through the donation of the church. We believe it builds community and it’s our privilege to host!
Most of the garden plots are roughly 11 x 36 feet, with newer plots and raised beds of various sizes. A suggested donation of $25.00/year will help to cover our cost of maintaining the garden. Plots, water, wood chips, picnic tables, mowing, and compost will be provided as the budget allows. We will also have a wheelbarrow (or 2) and garden tools to share.
